Cavella

The firm

A limited number of mandates.

Cavella works as an extension of your business development team. There is no retainer and no monthly fee, so the firm carries the full cost of every search. That is why it takes a limited number of mandates at a time, runs one search per sector and territory, and sends a company it surfaces to one acquirer only.

Who we work with

Repeat acquirers of founder-owned businesses.

Buyers making repeat acquisitions of founder-owned and family-owned businesses, typically with $2 million to $50 million of revenue, in services, trades, manufacturing, distribution, and software. Platform searches and add-ons alike.

Holding companies. Operator-led platforms. Independent sponsors. Lower middle market private equity firms.

What Cavella is not: a lead-generation shop, an offshore call center, or a business broker circulating the same listings to every buyer.

The people on the work

Two seats. Both of them on the search.

Chief executive and deal lead

Won Hwang

Leads every search and holds every owner conversation himself. He has sat on the buyside of the table, so what reaches you has been screened the way an investment committee would screen it.
